To decrease turfgrass maintenance costs, deter wildlife and invasive vegetation.

Study Summary

We met Denis Hoey through our work with Jim Adkisson/Falcon Hill Vineyards. Denis wants to provide an environment at his winery that is consistent with his focus on sustainability and organic growing practices. Ornamental landscape without the use of herbicides. He chose FlightTurf^® for adjacent areas to his tasting room over other possible grasses to minimize maintenance and maximize appearance. These are the ‘before’ photos taken in May 2018 – check back as the project progresses. Initial seeding in March 2018 was a bit late to take advantage of rainfall. Reports from the site after the rains in November is that the FlightTurf^® is doing well.
